We were so excited when we found these quilting kits!!  They make a wonderful shower or welcome home gift and they are a lot less intimidating than making a 100 wishes quilt.

We used our kit to make a "We Welcome You With Love" quilt.  Everyone at the shower was asked to bring a piece of fabric that reminded them of a great time spent with our friend (the adopting Mom).  Then everyone shared their story at the shower.  There was a lot of laughter and a few tears, but at the end of the day we were able to give our friend a wonderful shower gift threaded with many memories.

You can also use this kit to make a "Gotcha Day" quilt using the fabric from your baby's Gotcha Day outfit and pieces of clothing your forever family was wearing on that special day.

Choose from two kits - the white minky dot and the ivory minky fur.  The kit contains everything needed to make a quilt - alternating squares in minky fabric, batting, a quilt back, safety pins, straight pins, a cutting template, and very specific directions.  We have been assured that even a beginning sewer can make these beautiful quilts.  However, you can include a $30.00 gift certificate that entitles the recipient to have the quilt assembled by a professional seamstress within 3-4 weeks.
